Pitt: A Bump in the Road

The number 2  (now 7) ranked Miami Hurricanes fell to Pitt yesterday for the first loss of the season.

On Friday, November 24th, ‘Canes could not overcome a historically tough place to play falling to Pitt 24-14.

Total Yards Gained// 232

Passing & Receiving// Starting QB Malik Rosier threw for 187 yards and 2 touchdowns. Braxton Berrios led the Canes receiving with 61 yards and a touchdown.

Rushing //Rosier rushed for 31 yards on 12 carries.Travis Homer added 12 yards on 7 carries.

Defense // Miami’s defensedid a decent job stopping Pitt and forced 2 turnovers

Turnover Chain SZN// Miami brought out the chain twice

Special Teams//  Michael Badgley  2/2 on extra point attempts.

Notes// The ACC Championship game on Saturday! If the Canes win their is a 87 percent chance of making the College Football Playoff! Clemson however, is now ranked 1st (but not for long).
