Miami has many pizza places to offer, which can be overwhelming for newcomers. We’ve compiled a list of the best pizza in Miami, so that you can know where to go to for that late night, last minute dinner or for a quick, blissful bite after a difficult exam.
Magic City Pizza
7401 Coral Way Miami, FL 33155
A mere 3 miles from school, Magic City Pizza offers superb quality at a low price. They are most famous for their amazing garlic rolls, which are small knots swimming in buttery garlic goodness. Their pepperoni pizza is incredibly delicious, covered in tiny, bite-sized pepperonis on a perfectly thin crust. Don’t forget to mention their yelp special; get a large 16″ cheese pizza for only $10!
5840 SW 71st South Miami, FL 33143
This new locale at Sunset is the perfect place to hang out after a busy day of classes. With a California ambiance and amazing service, it gives the perfect hint of vacation vibes when needed. If you dine-in on a Tuesday, their 13″ pizzas are only $5 – you can’t turn down a price like that! Make sure leave room for dessert; they have a Nutella pizza, an adorable gelato set-up, as well as free cotton candy.
Casola’s Pizzeria & Sub Shop
2437 SW 17th Ave Miami, FL 33145
Everything Casola’s has to offer is recommendable; from the amazing hot wings to the pizza by-the-slice. Casola’s has a Jersey ambiance, which is made apparent with their wide selection of pizza and subs. The Casolas Steak Sub, a local favorite, is packed with various veggies and Italian sausage.
Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza
2626 Ponce De Leon Blvd Coral Gables, FL 33134
Anthony’s is the closest thing to gourmet pizza in Miami. Fancy date? Take your date to Anthony’s, they will fall in love. The pizza is perfectly thin and crispy, and the bar offers a wide selection of cocktails and wine. The most ordered pizza is Paulie’s Pie, which has meatballs, sausage, peppers, and ricotta cheese. But for the vegetarian folks, you can’t go wrong with their roasted cauliflower pizza.
Joe’s Old School Pizzeria
1232 South Dixie Hwy Coral Gables, FL 33146
Many student organizations order from here for their meetings, so you have probably already tried it and seen how tasty it is. However, I recommend that you try their garlic knots, the next time you order pizza for your student org. They offer combos such as two big slices and a drink for $7. Best of all, delivery is remarkably quick, and they are located close to campus, so you won’t have to wait long or venture out in an Uber to satisfy your pizza craving.
100 Collins Ave Miami Beach, FL 33139
Though this is possibly the priciest place on this list, Primo’s is one for the books. This hidden gem of South Beach is a five minute walk from the shore. Parking is a hassle, so it is worth the short walk to get their delicious, huge pizzas after a day at the beach. The Vodka sauce pizza is a local favorite if you’re going for something simple, but they also have out-there flavors that somehow still taste authentically Italian. Their Pulled-Pork pizza and Chicken Alfredo pizza are decadent, and they also offer more than 30+ other flavors for you to choose from, so there is something for everyone. Prices range greatly depending on what you’re getting, but nothing is more than $25. Trust me, for the size you’re getting, it’s worthwhile.
