Back by popular demand, the Indian Student Association (ISA) will hold Henna in the Breezeway today, November 8th, and tomorrow, November 9th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the UC Breezeway. Henna, a herbal liquid used to dye the skin, will leave behind an intricate temporary tattoo and is a beautiful way to express creativity. ISA’s henna designs will cost $3 for a small tattoo, $4 for a medium tattoo, and $6 for a hand tattoo. ISA will raise funds for Miami Mayhem, a intercollegiate Garba-Raas (the originally traditional dance in India that has evolved into a creative form of expression for modern generations) competition that will be held at UM this March, so make sure to stop by to support your fellow ‘Canes!
