We apologize for being a little MIA over Thanksgiving break, the turkey got the best of us. And we’re back!

Sophomore Morgan Mickelsen, a political science major from the chilly Northeast, risks it all and defies fashion rules to look Miami winter-fabulous. Donning a shimmery scarf and a gold Kate Spade tote, Morgan keeps her accents simple, as her dress is the showstopper. Morgan’s metallic accessories add a fantastic touch without outdoing the busy patterns of her Anthropologie dress. The Kingwood, NJ native likes to make a statement with her outfits while remaining classy like her style icon Jackie O. Morgan grabs deals on the latest trends at Bloomingdales, but insists that classic J.Crew pieces never go out of style–she’s right. Morgan embraces the “anything goes” attitude of Miami style and experiments with leotards and white pants after Labor Day, and we’re all for it.
