Wednesday evening, Distraction Magazine’s fashion girls were VIP guests to the Neiman Marcus Cusp Event at the Merrick Park store – a girl’s dream come true.

There was never a dull moment as the DJ remixed awesome beats while Miami’s most fashionable mingled at this see-and-be-seen event. Guests could test their luck with the fashionista claw machine (prizes included a Rachel Zoe clutch!), enjoy a photo booth with clothing options like fur coats, and even snap some photos as models posed while wearing this season’s most popular trends.

Live music was provided by singer ZZ Ward, who rocked out as event-goers clapped along to her rocker blues rhythm. She sported her signature fedora along with jet black studded combat boots and pieces from Rag & Bone. The department chose to feature Ward because she is a singer on the cusp of fame – a testament to some of the department’s trendy pieces.

We saw pretty ladies in pink, plenty of to-die-for bags, and killer high heels you could probably joust with. Perfectly dressed patrons sipped mini milkshakes adorned with strawberries and munched on monogrammed Cusp cookies and popcorn. And who can forget the actual Neiman merchandise which may have left our mouths watering even more than those delectable mini burgers. Then again, it’s Neiman Marcus; you always covet the fashion at NM.

At Neiman Marcus, you expect the best, and they truly delivered with this event. It was a testament to the store’s keen eye for detail that keeps shoppers returning time and time again.
