Nicki Gitlin, a fashionable sophomore from New York, does not just wear trendy pieces to class – she creates them in her free time. Amidst her busy architecture schedule, Nicki designs a line of bracelets with her best friend Lauren called Stringbead Bracelets (check out their Tumblr here).
Naturally, the part-time jewelry designer was rocking classic Cartier and Hermes bracelets and other fun wrist adornments with this look. Nicki manages to take topsiders off the boat docks to create a low-key, chic look. Adding shape to her look, she pairs her waterside shoes with light-washed high-waisted shorts and contradicts them with a loose, neutral boat neck top to pull off an outfit perfect for a fall day in Miami. She completes her casual look with a feminine touch by pulling her hair into a graceful, ballerina bun.
Nicki’s style inspiration comes mostly from the 90’s, so she is always looking for pieces reminiscing that decade. Her love for classic pieces and definitive trends make Nicki’s style a refreshing addition to the bevy of fashionistas on campus.
